I love using people-driven design principles to build digital technology solutions. Decision making should employ not just data in the form of numbers but also interactions and feelings. As a former consultant and big data enthusiast, I can confidently say that successful product decisions are driven by interactions and feelings before numbers and models. I’ve used empathy, analytics, and design to build user-centered digital solutions, from AI for enterprise IT to an intraoffice lunch review app.

I am especially passionate about B2B SaaS/PaaS solutions and big data analytics.

About

I’m currently a dual Masters degree candidate at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where I will receive an MBA and MS in Design Innovation (McCormick School of Engineering). In this dual-degree program (Kellogg’s MMM program – Multidisciplinary, MS, MBA) we focus on integrating business with empathy-driven design, technical expertise, and human-centered innovation.

Before Kellogg, I worked at EY working with companies to operate effectively in a global economy. During my time at the firm, I worked on digital products for our service line and clients to digitize and streamline steps of the compliance process. While developing a passion for elegant digital solutions, I learned to effectively manage products and cross-functional teams, coach and mentor staff, and build complex data models. My time at EY influenced me greatly in that I learned how to root digital solutions for businesses in people and processes.

I hope to bring my cross-functional skillset to a role facilitating cooperative innovation among engineering, design, product, marketing, finance, and other business functions. I'm always ready to get my hands dirty and jump into the weeds of a problem.

Interests

In my free time, I love getting to the pool to swim laps – swimming has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember. I also recently started biking as a result of being a student at Northwestern - Chicagoland has some great trails!

I also play a lot of board and video games. I’m always looking for recommendations (tabletop, PS4, Switch, and PC) so please share your must-plays with me! Currently been using a mix of technology to continue my board game crew's venture through Pandemic Season 1 during lockdown.

Follow me on Twitter, you'll see I send a lot of Tweets around all my interests - technology, gaming and design!
